Everybody has been asking, so here is the latest.
All the materials have been sent to the printer. With any luck it should be ready for sale prior to Christmas. It would be a nice gift for family or friends, who enjloy "real" Scottish food.
I am sorry that no price can be quoted until Becky lets me know the production costs. However, please be assured, that the price will be a reasonable one, that won't put a hole in your pocketbook. I will update this notice as soon as I have the information.

Hi
I need some information from the members. It is time to inform the printer re: how many copies or this "All Scottish Cookbook"we may need.
I am NOT asking for a committment. This is just to give me an idea how many copies we many need to order. If you need one for your personal use or for a Christmas or birthday gift; won't you please drop me a note either through my email address dockside4@aol.com or here in the forum.
I have worked very hard on this project, so I hope you will all like it. This is a good fundraiser for our Clan.

Thank you for your reply.
I had a discussion with Chief's Lt. Donley Tomey this morning. We are planning to drop ship eight copies of the book to each Clan Commissioner for distribution.
Later on...Anyone who will need more (or less), should contact me. At this point everything presented is a guestimate. I need to call Patrick and see if he wants to keep a few copies at the clan store.
I am in the process of sending more recipes to Becky, as the more pages we have printed, the more reasonable the cost. This may delay the distribution until after Christmas, though we are hoping it will not happen that way.
Thanks again for your cooperation.
Yours Aye,
Joanie

Hi Sherry
We do not have a price as yet.
With the number of recipes I submitted, I thought we had a ton of pages. After speaking with Becky, I learned that since we did double columns on the pages, it cut down on a number, which I did not feel was sufficient for a good, book. Therefore, I am searching for more recipes to send to Becky. It is a real chore.
We will be charged per number of pages (# of pages in total number of books printed). So a price cannot be quoted at this time.
I appreciate everyone's support.
Yours Aye,
Joanie
